Financial Guidelines

 

As you get ready to start your First Impression adventure, you may be wondering about the financial aspects of the program.  Below are lists of a few helpful tips we have prepared to assist you in answering your questions.  The lists are divided into two parts: 1) what the $150.00 to the First Impressions Team will cover, and 2) what costs  each community/corridor is responsible for.

 

Community/Corridor Fee ($150 per community or corridor) will cover the following:

We have taken care of all of the necessary paperwork, copies, instruction to get started.  In your packet, you should have been given the following papers:

 

An overview of the First Impressions process and what is expected of you and what to expect from the First Impressions Team.

 

The survey, either the Community Survey or the Tourism Corridor survey, with the necessary instructions to complete it.

 

A follow-up questionnaire to capture useful information from the visit that you can use in your own community.

 

Instructions for training your volunteer visitors.

 

Guidelines for preparing the final report and presentation to your paired community/corridor.

 

We will provide guidance in pairing you with a suitable community and will offer you options as they become available.

 

We will review your report and make suggestions regarding follow-up programs and strategies.

 

We will oversee the program, provide guidance and answer questions that you may have.

 

The community/corridor will provide the following support on their own:

 

Transportation costs for the visitation team.(it is recommended that you carpool to the other community/corridor as it saves costs and enhances the experience).

 

Any meals or snacks for your visitation team during the trip.

 

Any overnight travel (if applicable)

 

Program materials and supplies; camera and film, paper, pens/pencils

 

Phone calls, other local costs of implementing the program
